Barangay Nusa

Barangay Nusa is a small barangay in the municipality of Cagayancillo, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nusa had a population of 559. This made it the 5th largest of 12 barangays in Cagayancillo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nusa accounted for approximately 8.12% of the total population of Cagayancillo, which stood at 6,884 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nusa moving from 531 residents to 559 residents, an intercensal change of +5.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nusa as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
