Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a mega-barangay in the municipality of Cainta, located in the province of Rizal, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 86,723. This made it the 3rd largest of 7 barangays in Cainta by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 23.01% of the total population of Cainta, which stood at 376,933 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 69,377 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 86,723 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +25.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
