Barangay Santo Niño

Barangay Santo Niño is a large barangay in the municipality of Cainta, located in the province of Rizal, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Niño had a population of 6,377. This made it the 6th largest of 7 barangays in Cainta by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño accounted for approximately 1.69% of the total population of Cainta, which stood at 376,933 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,113 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,377 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Niño as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
