Barangay Bagong Tubig

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bagong Tubig is one of the administrative divisions of Calaca in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bagong Tubig had a population of 2,644. This made it the 11th largest of 40 barangays in Calaca by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagong Tubig accounted for approximately 3.03% of the total population of Calaca, which stood at 87,361 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,434 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,644 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Bagong Tubig is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
