Barangay Cahil

Barangay Cahil is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Calaca, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cahil had a population of 3,818. This made it the 5th largest of 40 barangays in Calaca by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cahil accounted for approximately 4.37% of the total population of Calaca, which stood at 87,361 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cahil moving from 3,742 residents to 3,818 residents, an intercensal change of +2.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Cahil is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
