Barangay Santa Cecilia

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Santa Cecilia is one of the administrative divisions of Calauag in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Cecilia had a population of 398. This made it the 65th largest of 81 barangays in Calauag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Cecilia accounted for approximately 0.55% of the total population of Calauag, which stood at 71,809 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Cecilia changed from 377 to 398, a shift of +5.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Calauag. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Cecilia as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Calauag is a municipality comprising 81 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Cecilia, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
