Barangay Talingting

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Talingting is one of the administrative divisions of Calauag in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Talingting had a population of 633. This made it the 42nd largest of 81 barangays in Calauag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talingting accounted for approximately 0.88% of the total population of Calauag, which stood at 71,809 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Talingting moving from 766 residents to 633 residents, an intercensal change of -17.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Talingting as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
