Barangay Lampaya

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lampaya is one of the administrative divisions of Calinog in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lampaya had a population of 996. This made it the 27th largest of 59 barangays in Calinog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lampaya accounted for approximately 1.58% of the total population of Calinog, which stood at 62,853 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lampaya moving from 1,014 residents to 996 residents, an intercensal change of -1.8%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Lampaya is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
