Barangay Anislagan

Situated in Calubian, Leyte, Barangay Anislagan is one of 53 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Anislagan had a population of 402. This made it the 37th largest of 53 barangays in Calubian by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Anislagan accounted for approximately 1.27% of the total population of Calubian, which stood at 31,646 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 457 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 402 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -12.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Anislagan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
