Barangay Del Rosario

Barangay Del Rosario is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Canaman, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Del Rosario had a population of 3,744. This made it the 1st largest of 24 barangays in Canaman by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Rosario accounted for approximately 10.34% of the total population of Canaman, which stood at 36,205 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Del Rosario moving from 3,941 residents to 3,744 residents, an intercensal change of -5.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Del Rosario as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
