Barangay Pasig

Situated in Candaba, Pampanga, Barangay Pasig is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pasig had a population of 5,591. This made it the 2nd largest of 33 barangays in Candaba by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pasig accounted for approximately 4.68% of the total population of Candaba, which stood at 119,497 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pasig moving from 5,383 residents to 5,591 residents, an intercensal change of +3.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pasig as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Candaba is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pasig, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pasig ranks 122nd by 2020 population.
