Barangay Tinowaran

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tinowaran is one of the administrative divisions of Catarman in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tinowaran had a population of 560. This made it the 41st largest of 55 barangays in Catarman by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tinowaran accounted for approximately 0.57% of the total population of Catarman, which stood at 97,879 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tinowaran moving from 554 residents to 560 residents, an intercensal change of +1.1%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
