Barangay San Jose

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Jose is one of the administrative divisions of Cawayan in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Jose had a population of 688. This made it the 36th largest of 37 barangays in Cawayan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose accounted for approximately 0.99% of the total population of Cawayan, which stood at 69,265 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Jose moving from 620 residents to 688 residents, an intercensal change of +11.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
