Barangay Macatiw

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Macatiw is one of the administrative divisions of City of Alaminos in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Macatiw had a population of 1,047. This made it the 38th largest of 39 barangays in City of Alaminos by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Macatiw accounted for approximately 1.05% of the total population of City of Alaminos, which stood at 99,397 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 985 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,047 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Macatiw is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
