Barangay Calasga-an

Situated in City of Bais, Negros Oriental, Barangay Calasga-an is one of 35 barangays that make up the city within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calasga-an had a population of 2,484. This made it the 13th largest of 35 barangays in City of Bais by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. The barangay recorded 2,255 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,484 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Calasga-an is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
