Barangay Rayuray

Situated in City of Batac, Ilocos Norte, Barangay Rayuray is one of 43 barangays that make up the city within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rayuray had a population of 1,062. This made it the 24th largest of 43 barangays in City of Batac by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Rayuray accounted for approximately 1.91% of the total population of City of Batac, which stood at 55,484 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 995 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,062 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Rayuray is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Batac is a city comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rayuray, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
