Barangay Mt. Olive

Barangay Mt. Olive is a small barangay in the city of City of Bayugan, located in the province of Agusan Del Sur, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mt. Olive had a population of 1,593. This made it the 21st largest of 43 barangays in City of Bayugan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Mt. Olive accounted for approximately 1.45% of the total population of City of Bayugan, which stood at 109,499 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mt. Olive moving from 1,509 residents to 1,593 residents, an intercensal change of +5.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mt. Olive as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
