Barangay Sudlonon

Barangay Sudlonon is a small barangay in the City of Bogo, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sudlonon had a population of 923. This made it the 24th largest of 29 barangays in City of Bogo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Sudlonon accounted for approximately 1.04% of the total population of City of Bogo, which stood at 88,867 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 686 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 923 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +34.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Sudlonon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Bogo is a city comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sudlonon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cebu, which contains 1,203 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Sudlonon ranks 904th by 2020 population. Barangay Sudlonon is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
