Barangay Poblacion 12

Barangay Poblacion 12 is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Cabadbaran, located in the province of Agusan Del Norte, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion 12 had a population of 2,471. This made it the 12th largest of 31 barangays in City of Cabadbaran by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Poblacion 12 accounted for approximately 3.08% of the total population of City of Cabadbaran, which stood at 80,354 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,263 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,471 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Poblacion 12 is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Cabadbaran is a city comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion 12, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
