Barangay Melojavilla (Pob.)

Barangay Melojavilla (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the city of City of Cabanatuan, located in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Melojavilla (Pob.) had a population of 387. This made it the 87th largest of 89 barangays in City of Cabanatuan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Melojavilla (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.12% of the total population of City of Cabanatuan, which stood at 327,325 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 654 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 387 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -40.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Melojavilla (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cabanatuan is a city comprising 89 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Melojavilla (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
