Barangay Valle Cruz

Barangay Valle Cruz is a large barangay in the city of City of Cabanatuan, located in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Valle Cruz had a population of 6,503. This made it the 11th largest of 89 barangays in City of Cabanatuan by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Valle Cruz accounted for approximately 1.99% of the total population of City of Cabanatuan, which stood at 327,325 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Valle Cruz changed from 4,856 to 6,503, a shift of +33.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Cabanatuan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Valle Cruz as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cabanatuan is a city comprising 89 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Valle Cruz, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
