Barangay Camaligan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Camaligan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Calamba in Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Camaligan had a population of 1,345. This made it the 52nd largest of 54 barangays in City of Calamba by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Camaligan accounted for approximately 0.25% of the total population of City of Calamba, which stood at 539,671 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,235 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,345 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Camaligan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Calamba is a city comprising 54 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camaligan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
