Barangay Palo-Alto

Barangay Palo-Alto is a very large barangay in the City of Calamba, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Palo-Alto had a population of 18,874. This made it the 6th largest of 54 barangays in City of Calamba by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Palo-Alto accounted for approximately 3.50% of the total population of City of Calamba, which stood at 539,671 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Palo-Alto changed from 15,208 to 18,874, a shift of +24.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Calamba. Barangay Palo-Alto is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
