Barangay San Fermin

Barangay San Fermin is a large barangay in the City of Cauayan, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Fermin had a population of 12,047. This made it the 1st largest of 65 barangays in City of Cauayan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Fermin accounted for approximately 8.40% of the total population of City of Cauayan, which stood at 143,403 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Fermin changed from 10,856 to 12,047, a shift of +11.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Cauayan. Barangay San Fermin is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cauayan is a city comprising 65 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Fermin, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
