Barangay 29-A

Barangay 29-A is a small barangay in the City of Cavite, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 29-A had a population of 1,045. This made it the 44th largest of 84 barangays in City of Cavite by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay 29-A accounted for approximately 1.04% of the total population of City of Cavite, which stood at 100,674 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 29-A changed from 660 to 1,045, a shift of +58.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Cavite. Barangay 29-A is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Cavite is a city comprising 84 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 29-A, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
