Barangay 4

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay 4 is one of the administrative divisions of City of Cavite in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 4 had a population of 274. This made it the 84th largest of 84 barangays in City of Cavite by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay 4 accounted for approximately 0.27% of the total population of City of Cavite, which stood at 100,674 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 211 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 274 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +29.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay 4 is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Cavite is a city comprising 84 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 4, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cavite, which contains 829 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay 4 ranks 826th by 2020 population. Like every Philippine barangay, Barangay 4 is led by an elected Punong Barangay (barangay captain) supported by seven Sangguniang Barangay members (kagawads), an SK Chairperson, a Barangay Secretary, and a Barangay Treasurer. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
