Barangay 55

Barangay 55 is a small barangay in the City of Cavite, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 55 had a population of 914. This made it the 50th largest of 84 barangays in City of Cavite by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay 55 accounted for approximately 0.91% of the total population of City of Cavite, which stood at 100,674 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay 55 moving from 948 residents to 914 residents, an intercensal change of -3.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay 55 is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
