Barangay Tejero

Barangay Tejero is a large barangay in the City of General Trias, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tejero had a population of 8,148. This made it the 13th largest of 33 barangays in City of General Trias by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Tejero accounted for approximately 1.81% of the total population of City of General Trias, which stood at 450,583 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tejero changed from 7,024 to 8,148, a shift of +16.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of General Trias. Barangay Tejero is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of General Trias is a city comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tejero, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
