Barangay Manaring

Barangay Manaring is a mid-sized barangay in the city of City of Ilagan, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Manaring had a population of 2,634. This made it the 15th largest of 91 barangays in City of Ilagan by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Manaring accounted for approximately 1.66% of the total population of City of Ilagan, which stood at 158,218 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Manaring moving from 2,399 residents to 2,634 residents, an intercensal change of +9.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Manaring as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
