Barangay 1 (Pob.)

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay 1 (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of City of Malaybalay in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 1 (Pob.) had a population of 6,442. This made it the 11th largest of 46 barangays in City of Malaybalay by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay 1 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.38% of the total population of City of Malaybalay, which stood at 190,712 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 1 (Pob.) changed from 5,293 to 6,442, a shift of +21.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Malaybalay. Barangay 1 (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Malaybalay is a city comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 1 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
