Barangay San Agustin

Barangay San Agustin is a small barangay in the City of Malolos, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Agustin had a population of 1,945. This made it the 41st largest of 51 barangays in City of Malolos by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Agustin accounted for approximately 0.74% of the total population of City of Malolos, which stood at 261,189 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Agustin changed from 2,262 to 1,945, a shift of -14.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Malolos. Barangay San Agustin is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Malolos is a city comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Agustin, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
