Barangay Pantoc

Barangay Pantoc is a large barangay in the City of Meycauayan, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pantoc had a population of 12,577. This made it the 9th largest of 26 barangays in City of Meycauayan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Pantoc accounted for approximately 5.57% of the total population of City of Meycauayan, which stood at 225,673 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pantoc changed from 11,804 to 12,577, a shift of +6.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Meycauayan. Barangay Pantoc is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Meycauayan is a city comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pantoc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bulacan, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pantoc ranks 60th by 2020 population. Barangay Pantoc is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
