Barangay Saluysoy

Barangay Saluysoy is a large barangay in the City of Meycauayan, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Saluysoy had a population of 11,024. This made it the 10th largest of 26 barangays in City of Meycauayan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Saluysoy accounted for approximately 4.88% of the total population of City of Meycauayan, which stood at 225,673 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Saluysoy changed from 10,347 to 11,024, a shift of +6.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Meycauayan. Barangay Saluysoy is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Meycauayan is a city comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Saluysoy, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bulacan, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Saluysoy ranks 79th by 2020 population.
