Barangay Tugatog

Barangay Tugatog forms part of City of Meycauayan, a city in Bulacan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tugatog had a population of 4,852. This made it the 17th largest of 26 barangays in City of Meycauayan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Tugatog accounted for approximately 2.15% of the total population of City of Meycauayan, which stood at 225,673 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,407 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,852 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Tugatog is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Meycauayan is a city comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tugatog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
