Barangay Kinuman Norte

Barangay Kinuman Norte is a small barangay in the City of Ozamiz, located in the province of Misamis Occidental, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kinuman Norte had a population of 1,577. This made it the 28th largest of 51 barangays in City of Ozamiz by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Kinuman Norte accounted for approximately 1.12% of the total population of City of Ozamiz, which stood at 140,334 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,484 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,577 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Kinuman Norte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Ozamiz is a city comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kinuman Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Misamis Occidental, which contains 490 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Kinuman Norte ranks 113th by 2020 population.
