Barangay Katualan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Katualan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Panabo in Davao Del Norte, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Katualan had a population of 606. This made it the 40th largest of 40 barangays in City of Panabo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Katualan accounted for approximately 0.29% of the total population of City of Panabo, which stood at 209,230 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Katualan changed from 744 to 606, a shift of -18.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Panabo. Barangay Katualan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Panabo is a city comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Katualan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
