Barangay Poblacion II

Barangay Poblacion II is a small barangay in the City of Roxas, located in the province of Capiz, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion II had a population of 1,382. This made it the 39th largest of 47 barangays in City of Roxas by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Poblacion II accounted for approximately 0.77% of the total population of City of Roxas, which stood at 179,292 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion II changed from 1,365 to 1,382, a shift of +1.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in City of Roxas. Barangay Poblacion II is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Roxas is a city comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion II, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
