Barangay Bulaon

Barangay Bulaon is a very large barangay in the City of San Fernando, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bulaon had a population of 27,506. This made it the 2nd largest of 35 barangays in City of San Fernando by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Bulaon accounted for approximately 7.76% of the total population of City of San Fernando, which stood at 354,666 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 24,685 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 27,506 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Bulaon is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Fernando is a city comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bulaon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Bulaon ranks 6th by 2020 population. Pampanga is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.

The barangay's legislative and executive affairs are handled by a Punong Barangay and the Sangguniang Barangay, elected nationwide during the Barangay and SK Elections. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
