Barangay Cabarsican

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Cabarsican is one of the administrative divisions of City of San Fernando in La Union, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabarsican had a population of 405. This made it the 57th largest of 59 barangays in City of San Fernando by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Cabarsican accounted for approximately 0.32% of the total population of City of San Fernando, which stood at 125,640 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cabarsican changed from 426 to 405, a shift of -4.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of San Fernando. Barangay Cabarsican is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of San Fernando is a city comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabarsican, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
