Barangay Dallangayan Este

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Dallangayan Este is one of the administrative divisions of City of San Fernando in La Union, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dallangayan Este had a population of 1,633. This made it the 25th largest of 59 barangays in City of San Fernando by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Dallangayan Este accounted for approximately 1.30% of the total population of City of San Fernando, which stood at 125,640 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dallangayan Este changed from 1,315 to 1,633, a shift of +24.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of San Fernando. Barangay Dallangayan Este is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of San Fernando is a city comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dallangayan Este, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
