Barangay Ilocanos Norte

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ilocanos Norte is one of the administrative divisions of City of San Fernando in La Union, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ilocanos Norte had a population of 1,147. This made it the 36th largest of 59 barangays in City of San Fernando by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Ilocanos Norte accounted for approximately 0.91% of the total population of City of San Fernando, which stood at 125,640 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,368 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,147 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -16.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Ilocanos Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
