Barangay Narra Este

Situated in City of San Fernando, La Union, Barangay Narra Este is one of 59 barangays that make up the city within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Narra Este had a population of 506. This made it the 52nd largest of 59 barangays in City of San Fernando by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Narra Este accounted for approximately 0.40% of the total population of City of San Fernando, which stood at 125,640 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 491 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 506 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Narra Este is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of San Fernando is a city comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Narra Este, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of La Union, which contains 576 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Narra Este ranks 534th by 2020 population.
