Barangay Parian

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Parian is one of the administrative divisions of City of San Fernando in La Union, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Parian had a population of 3,561. This made it the 10th largest of 59 barangays in City of San Fernando by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Parian accounted for approximately 2.83% of the total population of City of San Fernando, which stood at 125,640 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Parian moving from 3,650 residents to 3,561 residents, an intercensal change of -2.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Parian is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
