This made it the 8th largest of 48 barangays in City of Tanauan by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Pagaspas accounted for approximately 3.02% of the total population of City of Tanauan, which stood at 193,936 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,070 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,861 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +44.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pagaspas as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Tanauan is a city comprising 48 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pagaspas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
