Barangay Trapiche

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Trapiche is one of the administrative divisions of City of Tanauan in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Trapiche had a population of 7,842. This made it the 3rd largest of 48 barangays in City of Tanauan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Trapiche accounted for approximately 4.04% of the total population of City of Tanauan, which stood at 193,936 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 7,352 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,842 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Trapiche as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
