Barangay Balanti

Situated in City of Tarlac, Tarlac, Barangay Balanti is one of 76 barangays that make up the city within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Balanti had a population of 1,961. This made it the 64th largest of 76 barangays in City of Tarlac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Balanti accounted for approximately 0.51% of the total population of City of Tarlac, which stood at 385,398 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,725 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,961 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Balanti is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tarlac is a city comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Balanti, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
