Barangay Mialen

Barangay Mialen is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Clarin, located in the province of Misamis Occidental, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mialen had a population of 3,241. This made it the 2nd largest of 29 barangays in Clarin by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mialen accounted for approximately 8.24% of the total population of Clarin, which stood at 39,356 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mialen moving from 3,014 residents to 3,241 residents, an intercensal change of +7.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mialen as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
