Barangay Pan-ay

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Pan-ay is one of the administrative divisions of Clarin in Misamis Occidental, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pan-ay had a population of 2,599. This made it the 3rd largest of 29 barangays in Clarin by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pan-ay accounted for approximately 6.60% of the total population of Clarin, which stood at 39,356 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pan-ay moving from 2,461 residents to 2,599 residents, an intercensal change of +5.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Pan-ay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
