Barangay Batiti

Barangay Batiti is a small barangay in the municipality of Concepcion, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Batiti had a population of 1,006. This made it the 18th largest of 25 barangays in Concepcion by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Batiti accounted for approximately 2.25% of the total population of Concepcion, which stood at 44,633 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Batiti changed from 981 to 1,006, a shift of +2.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Concepcion. Barangay Batiti is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Concepcion is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Batiti, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Iloilo, which contains 1,901 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Batiti ranks 758th by 2020 population.
