Barangay Pias Norte

Situated in Currimao, Ilocos Norte, Barangay Pias Norte is one of 23 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pias Norte had a population of 932. This made it the 2nd largest of 23 barangays in Currimao by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pias Norte accounted for approximately 7.63% of the total population of Currimao, which stood at 12,215 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 887 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 932 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Pias Norte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
